*Ingredients*
Chicken Ala King
¼ cup butter
1/3 cup all purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 cups of chicken, diced and cooked
After cooking the chicken, set aside. In a medium skillet, melt butter, over medium low heat. Then add flour and salt, whisk together and cook for 1 minute. Next add chicken broth and milk. Whisk until it thickens. Add the cooked chicken and heat through. Serve over white rice.
* Mine will be a little bit darker in color because I used homemade chicken stock and it tends to be darker than canned.*
